Guest guest
Respected prof Vkc ji, Namasthe. In divisonal charts we look for strength of natal planets, now suppose moon is placed in house of sun, sun is strong in natal chart but is afflicted in divisonal chart by nodes, Moon here is asc lord, now as sun in divisonal chart has become weak due to affliction by nodes, now as moon is placed in sun house, so can we say moon is also weak in divisonal chart as its dispositor sun is afflicted. So do we check for dispositor strength in divisonal charts or not. Thanks ajay. Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
Guest guest
Hello Ajay, We look for debilitation of planet, bad placement of planet in D chart or the affliction to the planet in the D chart only for the sub period lord. The weightage given to D-charts is just 20%. So, the strengths of the main chart are important. Best wishes. - ajay sehg Tuesday, March 18, 2008 8:00 PM Dispositor strength in divisonal charts. Guest guest
Hello Prof, On the same subject, When considering afflictions in D-Chart, do we follow the same rule of 5 deg on either side if week and 1 degree on either side if strong? How do we know the exact angles in the D-Charts? Is there any software that gives us that info? If not, then do we just go by conjunction and 5,7,9 aspects for the nodes e.g in D-9 Chart Aries Asdt, Angles of planets not known Rahu in 2nd and Ketu in 8th. Saturn also in 2nd, so is it afflicted ? Venus debilitated in 6th, should that Venus also be considered as afflicted because of Rahu's 5th house aspect ? Mercury debilated in 12th house, should also be considered as afflicted by Ketu from 8th house? Mars debilitated in 4th house, should also be considered afflicted by Ketu by 9th house aspect ? Moon in Aries and Jupiter in Libra, should they be considered weak for this D-Chart, inspite of good placement and no affliction because in this chart their respective dispositors are weak? Guest guest
Hello Venu, There is no degree in divl charts. The strength of planets in divl charts is gauged through conjunctions, aspects and placements. I add my replies to your questions in your appended message. Best wishes. - Venugopal.V Wednesday, March 19, 2008 12:10 PM Re: Re: Dispositor strength in divisonal charts. Yes. Moon in Aries and Jupiter in Libra, should they be considered weak for this D-Chart, inspite of good placement and no affliction because in this chart their respective dispositors are weak? If they are strong in the main chart they will remain strong for the purposes of the main chart.
