Guest guest
Dear , thank you for your kind and rare availability, for having personally answered to my previous questions and for your precious answer. I hope I won't bore you too much. In my opinion, your method has some advantages over others since finally I can see a positive correlation index between time analysis of bukhtis and positive-negative features of my rasi chart. In fact before reading of SA I could not explain why my Saturn periods were so positive. So, feeling I am on the right way, I am anxious to know. I apologize for the disturb. About SA, I noticed that young or old planets are assigned a score. In some free sw related to you method even planetary conjuction/aspects with planets or MEP of houses are given a score. The score is given in linear way on the basis of the closeness between objects assuming 5 degrees as the arc limit of influence. Now, please correct me if I am wrong, in a natal chart, about the planet strenght: * If we had to consider the strength of a debilitated planet or in dushtana house, is it equal to 0 ? * If there is a conjuction - aspect with a FM or a FB, has the strength of the planet to be changed depending on the closeness and quality of the aspect, or is strength not affected by aspects ? * Exaltation is a source of strength: is there a way to assign it a score ? Or is it just a qualitative factor ? * What about a planet in : * moolatrikona * own sign * sign of friend/enemy (does this concept exist in SA ?) * How do you combine these elements, i.e. an exalted but old planet ? an exalted and combust one ? a young and combust one ? an exalted in dushtana ? Do you follow an additive rule, a multiplicative one, or is there a hierarchy of considerations excluding further attributes ? * About the weakness induced by combustion, if there is not affliction of the combust planet in natal chart and any other weakness, the difference with the debilitation is that * combustion lets the planet and his house exposed in transits only * other weaknesses (debilitation, dushtana) act in transits and subperiods * old and young age act partially like debilitation in proportion to the score related to age. About the strenght of houses: * for each house, should one sum or subtract the scores due to : * lordship * occupation and aspects computed for the MEP ? Last but not least question: * Do you strongly advice a particular ayanamsa ? Thank you. Yours Ezio.
Guest guest
Hello Ezio, It is difficult to give each thing a quantitative value/score. The extent to which it was possible, I have already given. Rest a person learns with experience. Best wishes. - " Ezio " <eziopaglia Friday, February 08, 2008 2:57 PM Trying to assign planets and houses a score of strength Dear , thank you for your kind and rare availability, for having personally answered to my previous questions and for your precious answer.
