You can use the pearl and emerald gemstones. Avoid rubies, diamonds, and blue sapphires. The red coral and yellow sapphire are also favorable, but they are not as necessary as the pearl and emerald. In my opinion, SA is the essence of BPHS. SA is built on classical principles. I studied classical works for ten years and thereafter, SA for ten years. SA cuts through the clutter and gives accurate, replicable, and relevant results. Those who want to spend days, weeks, months, and years on charts, may do so.
