Guest guest
Dear Respected ProfessorJi, 1.What is the SATVA stand on maraka planets (7th and 2nd lords ) operating in their dasas. Are they killer planets? 2.If not, what do they signify? Would their signification depend on their a. functionality; for instance jupiter being a functional malefic b. nature of the planet themselves; for instance saturn even as 7th lord for leo is still malefic. 3. Does it matter if the 7th lord (whose Madahasa is in operation) is 8th from the moon? 4. As far as SATVA is concerned, how does the moon chart figure in assessing the effects of a Mahadasa lord? 5. How important is the navamsa as far as SATVA is concerned? a. who is more powerful the 7th lord in rasi or the 7th lord in navamsa? in so far as fructifying marriage is concerned Thank you so much for the much anticpated feedback! Sincerely, Toni
Guest guest
Hello Tony, 7TH & 2ND LORDS ARE NOT KILLER PLANETS. YOU SHOULD STUDY THE FUNCTIONAL NATURE OF PLANETS AT http://www.yournetastrologer.com/predictiveastrology_techniques.htm I add replies to your rest of the questions in your message below. Best wishes. - " anthony " <tony_choudry Monday, November 19, 2007 5:05 PM Operations of 7th lord Mahadasa and 2nd lord Bhukti Dear Respected ProfessorJi, 1.What is the SATVA stand on maraka planets (7th and 2nd lords ) operating in their dasas. NO. SATURN FOR LEO BORNS IS A BENEFIC PLANET. 3. Does it matter if the 7th lord (whose Madahasa is in operation) is 8th from the moon? NO. 4. As far as SATVA is concerned, how does the moon chart figure in assessing the effects of a Mahadasa lord? MOON HAS NO ROLE. ALL INFLUENCES ARE STUDIED FROM THE ASCENDANT. 5. How important is the navamsa as far as SATVA is concerned? IT IS SEEN FOR SEEING THE STRENGTH OF PLANETS. a. who is more powerful the 7th lord in rasi or the 7th lord in navamsa? in so far as fructifying marriage is concerned http://www.yournetastrologer.com/appli/a04.htm Thank you so much for the much anticpated feedback! Guest guest
Dear Respected ProfessorJi, Much gratitude for your reply. I am glad that these are not 7L Saturn is not maraka planets for Leo Asc. I hope you don't mind if I ask several more questions. 1. How do we judge the difference between the prime determinant of marriage (or wealth, or children) and the its significator. 2. Does prime determinant refers more to the timing of the said event, and significator the " nature " of the events themselves? For instance, if the determinant is strong for a particular event (let's day marriage) but the significator is afflicted or weak, does it imply that 3. The event (prime determinant being strong) may take place but the marriage life (significator) is full of challenges, by virtue of the weakness or affliction to the signficator? 4. In SATVA, Can Rahu and Ketu be more malefic than the MMP (as indicated by one's ascendant) in some cases? 5. When a benefic planet is in retrogade motion, in our example, 7L Saturn for leo, will that affect the power of the planet to dispense good things? Jupiter just entered its moolatrikuna sign, this is supposed to be generally benefic. But what is Jupiter-transit's effect when it touches natal Jupiter? Specially one that is combust (natal Jupiter) 7. Contrast this with a Jupiter that is afflicted with Rahu. Will the Jupiter transit on this natal Jupiter-Rahu activate the bad yoga (jupiter-rahu)? If both natal Jupiter-Rahu are 10 degrees away from MEP, will the transit be insignificant as far as the bad yoga is concerned? Thanks for your patience. Sorry for the many questions. But I'm starting to really like the approach. Sincerely, Toni siha wrote: Hello Tony, 7TH & 2ND LORDS ARE NOT KILLER PLANETS. I am glad that these are not 7L Saturn is not maraka planets for Leo Asc. I hope you don't mind if I ask several more questions. 1. How do we judge the difference between the prime determinant of marriage (or wealth, or children) and the its significator. PRIME DETERMINANT COMES FIRST. SIGNIFICATOR PROVIDES SUPPORT IF STRONG AND WHEN REQD. 2. Does prime determinant refers more to the timing of the said event, and significator the " nature " of the events themselves? NO. BOTH REFER TO THE SAME AND STATED FOR NO. 1. For instance, if the determinant is strong for a particular event (let's day marriage) but the significator is afflicted or weak, does it imply that 3. The event (prime determinant being strong) may take place but the marriage life (significator) is full of challenges, by virtue of the weakness or affliction to the signficator? NO. 4. In SATVA, Can Rahu and Ketu be more malefic than the MMP (as indicated by one's ascendant) in some cases? NO. THEY CAN BE IF THEIR AFFLICTION IS SIGNIFICANTLY STRONGER IN COMPARISON TO MMP. 5. When a benefic planet is in retrogade motion, in our example, 7L Saturn for leo, will that affect the power of the planet to dispense good things? NOT AT ALL. Jupiter just entered its moolatrikuna sign, this is supposed to be generally benefic. But what is Jupiter-transit's effect when it touches natal Jupiter? Specially one that is combust (natal Jupiter) IF JUP IS FB THEN IT IS GOOD AS PER ITS NATAL AND TRANSIT STRENGTH. IF FUNCTIONAL MALEFIC THEN THE IMPACT IS BAD. 7. Contrast this with a Jupiter that is afflicted with Rahu. Will the Jupiter transit on this natal Jupiter-Rahu activate the bad yoga (jupiter-rahu)? YES, IT WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS AS TRANSIT JUPITER WILL GET AFFLICTED, TOO. If both natal Jupiter-Rahu are 10 degrees away from MEP, will the transit be insignificant as far as the bad yoga is concerned? YES. Thanks for your patience. Sorry for the many questions.
