Dear and Learned List members,

This is the chart of a man who is struggling with drug addiction,

depression, broken relationships, inability to make money, little desire to

achieve, etc. You will see that there are 3 strong planets: Mars, Venus, and

Jupiter. Can all the indications above be explained by the weak and/or

afflicted Moon, Sun, Mercury ruled directly or indirectly by debilitated

Saturn?

Best Regards

Hello Paul,

The prime determinant for profession is the Moon which is weak and

afflicted. Dispositor and significator for the professional matters, the

Sun, is also afflicted by MMP Mercury, which acts like Rahu. Saturn is the

additional prime determinant for professional matters. The sub period of

Saturn shows the results of affliction of Rahu and Mercury as both of these

are operating from the MT sign of Saturn in the natal chart. The native is

in the main period of the Moon and the sub periods of Moon, Rahu, Saturn,

Mercury, Ketu, etc. all indicate problems. But there is a potential in the

chart which can be set in forth with the help of astral remedies. It is

challenging but there is scope.

Best wishes.

Dear Professor,

I have seen in your Systems' Approach book that the Lord of the 8th or 12th

house can act like Rahu. Do these malefic Lords cause calamities in the same

way Rahu does, or do they create desires, or cloud judgment in addition to

bringing the afflictions of the house they rule?

Best Regards

Paul
