Guest guest
Dear learned List members, I was driving to work this morning and another car ran a stop sign and hit my car on the driver's side. I am OK I will see a doctor later today just to make sure. The time of the accident was 8:56AM 25-Oct-2007 in Fairfield, IA. I looked at my chart (Leo Rising) and the transits and can see Transit Moon afflicting Transit combust Mercury at about 10% from the 8th house plus about a 10% affliction by Moon of MEP of 9th (ruled by Mars - accidents) and 3rd houses (ruled by Venus - automobiles) so I am thinking that this was the main indicator. Also the Sun is in its debilitation sign and afflicted by Rahu at about 20% and Rahu afflicts Mars at about 20%. I am in a Moon sub period. There are two close (but not very close) afflictions to weak planets. Sun signifying me, Mercury signifying travel or transport and an affliction to a strong Mars signifying accidents and an exact affliction to Saturn from the nodes signifying obstructions and loss (my old car is totaled). The interesting thing to me is that, except for the affliction to Saturn, all of these conjunctions or aspects are only to a small degree 10% to 20%. It seems that the combination of the long term affliction (several weeks now) to Saturn provides a general weakness to the chart for the short term weakness of Mercury, the Sun and Mars to have an effect like an accident and, of course, the Moon is the sub period Lord and most active in the chart at this time. Is there anything I have missed or misunderstood? I can tell one thing. Being in a car accident is a shock to the system. 2-July-1948, 08:28am, Renton, Washington, USA 122W13 47N29 Best regards, Paul
Guest guest
Dear Paul or another list member: I'm sorry to learn of your car accident, Paul, and the car being totaled but am glad you were not severely injured ... Thank you for sharing this post and your other recent one with Satva ... your SA analysis and knowledge is clear and well presented ... I'm in a temporary situation this week in which I am using a different computer other than my own so I don't have access to my jyotish software for a few days ... could you or another list member please send me the specifics of your birth chart? Thanking you for your time and consideration ...
