Exact affliction to FMs

Dear Guruji and learned astrologers,

sadar pranam.......

 

A very basic question on degree of EXACT affliction to

FMs has been bothering me for a long time..... We know

that:-

* when FBs are afflicted by FMs placed in Houses

6-8-12;

* or when FBs are placed in H6-8-12 and are afflicted

by FMs; then-

the affliction is considered EXACT even at (+-)5

degrees.

Also, the degree of affliction would be in proportion

to Natal strenght of these planets.

1. Would the same rule apply to FMs as well ? i.e the

malefic effect would be felt until the transit is

clear by 5 degrees either from FMs placed in dushtana

grahas or when the FM is in dushtana graha, or BOTH

the afflicting and afflicted FMs are in dushtana

grahas, eg. for Virgo, Pisces and Scorpio Asc (L6 in

H8 till 23 Mar) these could be extremely stressful

times.....

2. We consider that the weak Natal strength of FM does

not reduce its malefic impact. Then would the

seriousness of affliction depend on Natal strength of

the above FMs or is regardless of their Natal

strength?
