OJ Simpson named suspect in casino break-in

A little background from the above story: " The Heisman Trophy winner,

ex-NFL star and actor lives near Miami and has been a tabloid staple

since his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman

were killed in 1994. Simpson was acquitted of murder charges, but a

jury later held him liable for the killings in a wrongful death lawsuit.

 

Simpson has had to auction off his sports collectibles, including his

Heisman Trophy, to pay some of the $33.5 million judgment awarded to

the Goldman family. "

 

" The break-in was reported at the Palace Station casino late Thursday

night, police spokesman Jose Montoya said. He said investigators

determined the break-in involved sports collectibles. "

 

" When they talked to him, Simpson made the comment that he believed

the memorabilia was his, " Montoya said. " We're getting conflicting

stories from the two sides. "

 

Seems OJ can't keep himself on the right side of the law:

He began Mercury (2L) subperiod on July July 24th. Mercury is placed

in the 12th house and connects losses (12H) of status (2H) and

possible incarceration (12H).

 

At the time of the break-in (late evening Sept 13th) his Most Malefic

12th lord (vices), the Moon, was transiting the late degrees of his

second house and impacting the MEP of the 3rd house of initiatives and

9th of morals.

 

Earlier that same day, the subperiod lord Mercury was being afflicted

by the same transit Moon; probably when the ill-fated plan was

conceived. The 2nd house rules accumulated wealth and collectibles

and remember these were lost (2nd lord going to 12th).

 

Since he is running the Mercury subperiod and Mercury was afflicted in

its own 2nd house, I think his attorneys should rightly raise the

" transit defense " (related to the Twinky defense)!

Very interesting case.

 

With infant L12 Moon in H8 afflicting H2, infant L2 Mercury badly placed in

H12 along with L7 Saturn, one can see loss of family and wealth and wife in this

chart.

 

However, the question remains if he is a murderer.

 

At the time of the murders, Ve/Ve period was running. L3 Venus is natally

unafflicted, strong and well placed in H11, which explains his beautiful wife

and a life of luxuries and comforts. However, the transits were bad on that

fateful night. Rahu had been stationary for months at 0° Taurus, afflicting both

his L12 Moon in H8 and L2 Mercury in H12. Venus was also exactly transit

conjunct natal Mercury in H12 and under the aspect of the stationary transit

Rahu.

The arrest came just as transit MMP 12L Moon exactly afflicted his

natal 5L Jupiter in 3H signifying an obstruction of his

initiatives/actions.

 

Lagna lord transit Sun in 1H in very old age and therefore unable to

protect is significations; his health, wealth-being and physical body

etc...

 

Subperiod lord transit 2L Mercury still in its own 2H with house MEP

afflicted by natal 12L MMP Moon from 8th signifying losses of

accumulated wealth and expenses.

 

This natal affliction of the 12L MMP Moon to the 2H MEP will remain

active during the entire duration of the Mercury subperiod until May

2010 indicating expenses and losses of accumulated assets; perhaps

pertaining to legal costs given natal Mercury's placement in the 12H

signifying incarceration.

 

The District Attorney was quoted as saying " He is facing a lot of

time " . A conviction on the most serious charge, robbery with use of a

deadly weapon, could bring a sentence of three to 35 years for each

count, he said.

 

IS A CONVICTION AND INCARCERATION IN THE STARS FOR OJ?

 

I don't think so but would like Sri Choudhry's opinion. The strength

of his lagna lord Sun and lack of afflictions to the 1st house don't

indicate such serious outcomes nor do the coming dasas of the Sun

which is quite strong in the chart.

 

However this subperiod and the coming superiod of Ketu which widely

afflicts his natal Moon in the 8th and widely afflicts both natal

Mercury and Saturn seems to indicate continued expenses and losses of

accumulated wealth.

 

It's interesting that in December 2008 his transit Jupiter goes to the

6th house of litigation/disputes where it is debilitated.

 

When he was found not guilty following the 134 day " Trial of the

Century " in 1995 his transit Jupiter was in strength through his 4H

and 5H providing strength to his initiatives as Jupiter resides in the

3H natally. (Note the natal connection between Jupiter and the 1L Sun).

 

However, when he was found liable in the Civil Trial in 1997 and

ordered to pay $33.5 million his transit Jupiter was debilitated in

his 6th house of litigation. At this time, transit Jupiter was weak

and unable to protect its significations including his initiatives to

protect himself.

 

So, while it doesn't look like a case of incarceration, it does look

like more expenses and legal battles over the next 1.5 years.

 

I will take a look into the date of the murder of his wife and Ron

Goldman and post that as a separate thread if there is anything there...
