Guest guest
Dear Professor, On your website you state: " During ancient times, however, even states in south, east and west India, were treated as foreign places for northern Indian states as these were under different kings and had altogether different sets of cultures. " How is this seen today? When a chart shows travel to foreign lands or work in a foreign land, can this also be a different region in one's country of birth? Thank you, Matthias
Guest guest
In today's context it can be a foreign country or a distant place like someone born and brought up in Delhi might have to go to Chennai in case of India or from New York to California in US. , " giepen " <herr.giepen wrote: > > Dear Professor, > > On your website you state: " During ancient times, however, even states > in south, east and west India, were treated as foreign places for > northern Indian states as these were under different kings and had > altogether different sets of cultures.
