It was my understanding that an FM under no circumstance by conjunction or aspect would harm its own MT sign/house. Thank you Gurudev. Guest guest
Dear Professor, My ignorance on this one - I thought it can afflict its MTH from other dushtanas. My apologies for stating this recently in a reply here. Best regards, Vyas Munidas - <siha Saturday, August 11, 2007 1:11 AM Re: FM harming its own MT Your understanding is right, Chayagraha. Guest guest
It is my understanding if Mars is close to MEP of houses aspected it will afflict all of them except it's own house it rules (Aries). (Mool house.) In this case it would not afflict your 6th house. John P. Guest guest
Respected Professor/Vyasji, This indeed is a very pertinent issue. I have first hand experience myself - Scorpio Asc/Mars in 12th - close to MEP - and therefore my 6th house (besides 3rd and 7th) is considered afflicted. In a few discussions this has consistently appeared to be the correct opinion. Guest guest
Hello Mr. Gurumurthy, When a FM is in another malefic house near MEP it afflicts all houses except its own but its own MT sign house becomes weak and vulnerable to problems. Best wishes. - " r.k.gurumurthy " <gurumurthyrk Saturday, August 11, 2007 6:13 PM Re: FM harming its own MT Respected Professor/Vyasji, This indeed is a very pertinent issue. Guest guest
Respected Professor Thanks as always for the prompt response. Honestly, i am still not able to fully comprehend this. Will devote time to understanding this. You must be completely right in saying " ....but its own MT sign house becomes weak and vulnerable to problems " . This is precisely my querry and i can only surmise that the nonMT house of an FM is safer to that extent relative to the MT house. (Taurus asc - Venus in Aries MEP is more harmful than Venus in Scorpio MEP). Food for thought. Guest guest
Dear R.K., The downside of a non-MT sign's MEP is - that it is always subject to the 5* orb of affliction by FMs. Whereas MT MEP is sometimes subject to affliction only within 1* or 2* Orb (depending on who is doing the afflicting, and depending on how strong the Owner of the MT sign is) - and not always within 5*. So there is a downside and upside to both MT and non-MT signs. Guest guest
Hello my dear David, FM on MEP in its own MT sign does not harm its own MT sign house. It harms the house(s) aspected.
