Saturn is Exalted in Libra

Hi Professor,

 

Saturn is Exalted in Libra which also the 12th house for scorpio ASC.

Is this a bad placement for Saturn being in 12th house or isit good

placement since it is Exalted?

It is a bad placement. Its placement results in rise of the person in a

distant land if such an exalted Saturn is not afflicted or weak on other

accounts.

It is exalted but it can not be good because it is FM

It is functional benefic for those who have scorpio as the rising

sign.

Hi Professor,

 

So if the Saturn is in oldage in natal chart, this will not happen?

Does the lord of 12th house need to be strong for this?

Does the lord of 12th house need to be strong for this?

No. Here the lordship will be different. As both houses involved are malefic

houses this is a negative situation showing obstructions to the

significations of the twelfth house.

Exalted Saturn in 12th means the Rising sign is Scorpio and for Scorpio it is lordship of 3rd and 4th so it is functional malific and also benific. So I think we need to check the Constillation where it sits and planet accociated with it.

How would you explain exalted Saturn in 8th house? Is it like a combination of a functional malefic planet in a malefic house...making it super malefic? Would the fact that Saturn is exalted, help bringing any benefit for the chart?
