I am using Goravani Jyotish 3.0 which has a very accurate atlas and history of DST changes. The lottery isn't the answer though its a good guess given the bhukti 8th lord Jupiter signifying " easy gains " from the lottery etc... Take a look at the influences upon Jupiter and other planets involved in that close conjunction. Consider the other significations of that house. What are the benefic and/or malefic influences upon each planet? What are their general and particular significations effected? What does the house of placement signify? Then, look to the the dasa and bhukti for as sense of the overall trend (good or bad). The transits will be the trigger. Sun is also afflicted by Ketu. The MD-AD period of the given date is governed by 8L who can also give the results of 6L because of conjunction. Does this indicate the loss of father of the native? The most afflited planets are Jupiter, significator for siblings, children (he is young) and friends and Venus, significator for women, sisters, etc. From transit situation, Jupiter afflicts natal Moon (lord of 3H) and transit Venus. The natal aspects point to difficulties involving marriage, profession, parents, and children. MMP and 8L Jupiter natally is debilitated and it was running its main/subperiods. It was also weakly placed in transit in malefic 6H therefore very vulnerable and unable to protect its significations. The transiting Rahu-Ketu axis exactly on the 2/8 H MEPS indicates some sort of accident or death, possibly to a family (2H) member. Except for Mar, Sat, Ven and Jup all other planets are within the 5 degree orb of MEP. Except for 12 L and 10 L ( who influence each other) all other planets also influence each other. 8L-Jup is in debilitation in D1. Sun is strong in D9 and D10. From the planetary position, native seems to be very intelligent and articulate. In my opinion he could be an engineer by profession (most probably a computer engineer). He is highly influenced by religion or involved with some religious place. 6L, 8L and Ketu are conjunct in D9 (3rd H) & D10 (11th H). On July 23, 1982, Rahu and Ketu axis is exact on MEP (with Ketu in 8H and Rahu in 2 H). TX 8L - Jup aspects on 6L- Ven which is in 2H. Ven though technically FM will not harm him being Asc. loard too. On account of the planetary positions, I think on this day this native discovered/ invented something. I would not be surprised if this is a boxer or similar. Accidental death during a dispute that turned violent is indicated to a male family member, perhaps father. It follows the logic below perfectly as usually art performances are challenging like sports, would need years of initiatives (Rahu would have helped) and one should be get quick fortune (houses 8 & 9). This is another possibility but I didnot mentioned this before as I was not sure what would Rahu has to do to aid the art (venus). So final list would be one of the following ----- It may be like donating a kidney to sibling or computer hacker (after years of learning) or sport winner (again after years of learning) or giving some new unfounded theory to the world - at age 20 it sounds tough though or an art performance. So will not be able to protect it general significations and destroy good prospects when on MEP's. May be not. Now since Moon is a dispositor that is well placed and unafflicted the chances of negatives are not showing that clear. It is weak so no extra ordinary strong benefits. Overall conclusion - - 1st house doesn't look weak as MEP is saved - rules out early death eventhough 6th and 8th are together in 9th (well placed). Very important fact is that native was in Jup/ Jup period. The chances are that event would have colors of Jupiter, Venus and Rahu more than others. I would make a logical guess that when malefics are conjunct with strong benefics (Sun/Mercury) they become mature. So in nutshell house 8/6/9/3 in that order will color the event in a positive way.
