II, III and IX house lords as sun like planets

Dear Chaudhary Sir,

Please accept my best wishes for successful completion

of SA conference! I have tried to learn and understand

basics of SA from your web site for last 7-8 months.I

am a new member of this group now.

Please clarify my doubt regarding sun like planets as

we discussed in last few mails.

As you mentioned, lords of 3rd, 2nd and 9th houses, if

having a MT sign, act as sun like planets. What if sun

is a functional malefic in natal chart? Do these

planets also bahave like malefics? How the

significations of such planets different from FM sun?
