Guest guest
Dear Sadasivan, I'm not an SA expert, but I just thought of adding a personal experience from my past which i tried to interpret thru' SA. I'm a Libra Asdt, and was running Rahu-Mercury from April 2001 to September 2003. Rahu is operating from 12th house Virgo(away from MEP) and afflicting Mercury (12h placed in 4H away from MEP) and Moon (which rules my professional matters) placed in my 4th house of Capricorn. Mercury is debilitated in my Navamsa. This would have been an ideal situation for having serious professional problems. On the contrary this was an amazing time professionally, growthwise/ getting recognition/financially and the reason i could find was the transitting Jupiter in my 10th house where it is exalted. Of course the impact of Mercury and Rahu and 12th house did bring in the foreign travel for almost 6 months and the placement of 12th lord in 4th house brought in expenditure to acquire a house. Before coming to SA I had a wrong notion that Mercury was acting as 9th lord and thats the reason it was good. But the MT sign combined with " Transit takes Precedence " seems to be the best possible explanation I can think of. Since there was a long discussion on this Transit vs Bhukthi, I wanted narrate this experience. Guest guest
Dear Venu , Read the entire mail from the scratch and then you will understand my view. Read this mail carefully. I have been quoting examples from Prof's book on Transit of Slow moving Planet like Rahu, Saturn, Jupiter on the orbit of influence TAKING PRECEDENCE OVER SUBLORD and once the slow moving Planet's impact is over , SUBLORD takes precedence over the TRANSIT. I give below the reply of Prof (Ref message 6851) " sukhjez " <sukhjez Friday, January 26, 2007 7:50 PM Transit impact vs Subperiod lord I'm a little confused. I reckon a planet which is not directly or indirectly involved with the sub-period lord can have a significant impact. However events fructify in the sub-period of planets. Prof, I like to know when will a planet in transit supercede the trend results of the sub-period lord? Hello Mr. Sukhjez, Whenever the planet is causing a close influence in triple transit its impact supersedes the sub period results for the period the transit imact is there. Best wishes, MY DEAR VENU, In your case, the stransit of Slow moving Jupiter in the 10th has resulted in the Promotion. Jup is your Natal 3rd lord. 3rd lord acts a SUN . No wonder why you got promotion. Hope you understood my point. Read the entire mail carefully without missing any line. Prof has clarified the above point in many places . I fail to understand his reaction now. If he wants to protect someone, it is upto him . Thanks SG >> >> - >> >> --- " Venugopal.V " <venuvenkat wrote: > > Dear Sadasivan, > > I'm not an SA expert, but I just thought of adding a > personal experience from my past which i tried to > interpret thru' SA. > > I'm a Libra Asdt, and was running Rahu-Mercury from > April 2001 to September 2003.
