Guest guest
Dear List Members, Do planets on the MEP have the most influence on a person's life? or do they impact the native in a time dependant way? (early or late in life) Shouldn't they be long lived during the native's life? I have read both views in the literature. Which of these is true? Thankyou and best regards, John Dorio

Guest guest
Hello Duke, In this case the degree of blessings by the FB planet(s) will be proportional to its weak age (and other weaknesses). For instance in the Leo ascendant, if the MEP is 1 degree and the Sun is exactly at 1 degree Leo, all other things being equal, the native will have a very Leo personality, looks etc. However in this case because of the Sun's extreme infancy, the native may not fully realize all good things signified by a powerful Sun, in considerable quantity. Guest guest
Hello Duke, When the ascending degree is in extreme infancy or extreme old age then only the weak planets can influence it with very close conjunction/aspect. Guest guest
Dear Professor, Are you saying that it is possible for a planet in extreme old age/infancy (say Sun 1 deg, MEP 1 degree Leo) to fully promote its significations like Sun 15 deg MEP 15 deg Leo? I imagine that the latter case would be much more powerful. Best regards, Vyas Munidas - <siha Sunday, December 31, 2006 10:09 PM Re: Planets on the MEP > > Hello Duke, > > When the ascending degree is in extreme infancy or extreme old age then > only > the weak planets can influence it with very close conjunction/aspect. > > Best wishes, > > > > > - > " Duke Amboy " <dukeamboy > > Monday, January 01, 2007 6:11 AM > Re: Planets on the MEP > > >> What if the MEP is in infancy or old age? Guest guest
Dear Mr Vyas, This is a question which frequently appears in the question list and I myself has asked and Professor has replied at length. Strength of the planet * Influenece (both in percentages ) = IMPACT. Say the Lagna is in Leo in 1 degree . MEP is 26 degree of the previous sign to 6 degrees of the same sign . If a planet like Sun or any FB is in Infancy ie i degree , then the close impact will only generate hopes as the Planets are weak . But if the planets are strong , they would bestow results irrespective of the ascending degree even if they do not closely influence the MEP. This is the fundamental of SA. You have been criticising me all these days . But I shudder to imagine an expert like you have not understood the basics. Kindly refer Page No 46 of Professors book " SELF LEARNING COURSE IN ASTROLOGY " Happy New Year SG . --- Vyas Munidas <muni> wrote: > Dear Professor, > > Are you saying that it is possible for a planet in > extreme old age/infancy > (say Sun 1 deg, MEP 1 degree Leo) to fully promote > its significations like > Sun 15 deg MEP 15 deg Leo? > > I imagine that the latter case would be much more > powerful. > > > Best regards, > > Vyas Munidas > > > - > <siha > > Sunday, December 31, 2006 10:09 PM > Re: Planets on the MEP > > > > > > Hello Duke, > > > > When the ascending degree is in extreme infancy or > extreme old age then > > only > > the weak planets can influence it with very close > conjunction/aspect. > > > > Best wishes, > > > > > > > > > > - > > " Duke Amboy " <dukeamboy > > > > Monday, January 01, 2007 6:11 AM > > Re: Planets on the MEP > > > > > >> What if the MEP is in infancy or old age? Guest guest
Hello dear Vyas, Why are you getting confused? A planet influences as per its strength. However, its impact on MEP is not dependent upon its strength but is dependent upon closeness to MEP. Guest guest
Dear : If Jupiter as a functional benefic planet for Pisces rising sign is placed within less than 1 degree of an MEP of 3 degrees in the 6th house and the dispositor, the Sun, for Jupiter is weak due to the Sun residing at 2 degrees in the 3rd house, would this situation lessen Jupiter's benefic impact on the MEPs of the house it is in and the houses it aspects? Many thanks for your time and consideration. Guest guest
Dear Vyas, Your sacrifice for the welfare of the group by pretending ignorance and posing a question to Professor is something hard to believe neverthless commendable. Instead of posing the question to Professor, you could have directly clarified for the welfare of the group . Are you playing drama by making others fools ? Guest guest
Dear Professor, No doubt Vyas is a committed and a brilliant student of SA with high reverence for his Guru( your goodself) . His explanation was slightly hard to digest . It will set a precedent wherein tomorrow everyone will ask questions to your goodself and later say that the question was posed with a good intention and to avoid other members asking such questions. In the process your valuable time is lost . In case his feelings are hurt, I am sorry. The fact of the matter remains that he has criticised me umpteen no of times and I kept my emotions under control . SG --- siha wrote: > > Hello dear Vyas, > > Just have patience. Guest guest
Dear Professor, I have some doubts. In the example, If 10th lord is in MEP in 6th, then 1) Will it not boost the 10th house as it aspects closely the 10th house from the 6th house. Is it not that the bad placement only will give unexpected Career reversals ? . 2) Will not the 6th house gets strenghthened as the FB sits on the MEP of its house. Thanks SG. --- siha wrote: > > Hello Sujit, > > When10th lord is in sixth house it becomes weak.. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thanks. You have clarified that the damage is more than good that the good is only to the extent of weak Jupiter aspecting from the 6th house to its own house whereas the damage is to the extent of Jupiter getting placed in the house of disputes . But in 8th house , any exception is there as it aspect the house of Status?. Applying the same principle , the Sun like Planet Mars for Leo Lagna if exalted and young , then also it should do more damage than good as Sun like Planet is badly placed though it aspects the 9th house from the 6th . In short the SUN Like planet for Leo Lagna should never be exalted . Am I correct ? Looking forward to your valuable reply.
