Guest guest
Dear Professor and list: I have a friend who was adopted and there is no way of finding her original birth records. In your experience, is there any SA " signature " that could indicate possible time of birth due to the fact the child, in effect was " abandoned by the mother at birth " regardless of the mother's intent? Her DOB is 15 December 1959, Ottawa, Canada. With my best wishes, Chuck
Guest guest
Dear Chuck, This is an interesting question; I don't recall considering such before. The 12H signifies separation from family, so it may have a key consideration. The date and time time she was abandoned would have to indicate an affliction to a combination of houses/MTH Lords of H4, H9, H2, Moon, Sun/Jupiter. If the native went on to have good adopted parents in a loving home, significations for father and mother would have to have balance for the negatives in addition to good periods following the event. Noteable is the close Ke-Me aspect on that day. Mercury is a significator of childhood. Ve is very strong that day and would have no affliction regardless of ascendant. The Sun is in extreme old age and Jupiter is combust. If it worked out with the adopted parents, both these planets would likely not be be in houses 8, 12 and possibly 6 (rules out Sg, Ar, possibly Ge). There are numerous combinations and considerations. What are the general things about this native? Let's see what our dear Professor says. Guest guest
Hello dear Mr .Chuck, It is almost difficult to find the time. Prasna can help in ascertaining the ascendant. Guest guest
> >Hello Dear Professor and Vyas. Thank you for your replies. Professor, the native called me approximately 8:12a.m., November 29, 2006, 75W56,45N41, Zone 5 EST. She seemed quite worrisome and said she wanted to have her chart done. What role would the prasna ascendant play? Yvas, I will provide more details of the native, i.e., whether or not it worked with the adoptive parents. Guest guest
Dear Professor: Should the prasna chart be read as if it were the birth chart, or should I use the Ascending degree of the prasna chart as the native's natal chart ascending degree? Thank you. Chuck

Guest guest
Dear Yvas. What a cement head I am. I keep forgetting JT doesn't pick up the computer's zone time. Thanks for pointing this out. Now I have a good run up to the next DST change to keep that in mind. Kindest wishes, Chuck
