Hello dear MR. Karacan,

You are right.

Ruler 6th with ruler 8th in the 1st

Dear Professor and the list,

I have encountered an interesting horoscope, where ruler 6th and ruler 8th

conjoints perfectly in the 1st H.

In such circumstances, I guess, the native is vulnerable to accidents,

death-like situations, theft, fire and legal issues related to health,

theft, fire, accidents and inheritance.

Am I right in this sense?

Best wishes.

Hi Sinan,

I think it depends on the degree (MEP). If these 2 planets conjoin 5 degrees

near the MEP (degree cusp) then the person is vulnerable to accidents,

otherwise I think he or she will enjoy the good significations of the 6th

and 8th.

But hopeuly our Professor will let us know if we are correct.

Best wishes, VSW.

Hello VSW,

Mere conjunction of 6th and 8th lords anywhere in the chart make one

vulnerable to accidents, severe health and relationship problems. If it is

near MEP of the ascendant then it is more serious for health problems and

the relationships.

Best wishes,

Hi VSW,

The close or exact associations made by planets in the natal chart show

their effect regardless of distance to the MEP. The relevant subperiods

bring their positive or negative significations to the forefront

accordingly.

Hi Vyas,

Yes, I did know that the exact associations made by planets in the natal

chart show their effect regardless of distance to the MEP but I thought

Sinan was referring to the effects on the 1st house itself by the

association of these 2 planets. In other words, I thought Sinan was

enquiring about the effects of these 2 lords (6th and 8th) on the Ascendant

only.

Another question is that if 8th lord is 20 degrees away from 6th lord, would

you say this negative association would still manifest itself during the

dasa subperiods only by themselves?

Best wishes, Vita.

Dear Professor,

Only got your message after sending my reply to Vyas.

I understand your logic but would like to ask if, for example, 8th lord is

20 degrees away from 6th lord, although in the same sign and not near the

MEP, do these 2 malefic lords cause any negative impact in the chart?

The reason I ask this has to do with the fact that I too have 6th and 8th

lord conjunct in 6th, although they are 20 degrees apart and not near the

MEP.

Thanks again, Vita.

Nope, too wide. The independent strength and afflictions to and from the 6th

or 8th lord would have to be assessed.

Hi Vita

As an aside and the Professor should confirm this but also whenever

lord of H6 and H8 is in a malefic house, the individual is greatly

subject to serious accidents especially if the indicators for

longevity are weak. If you are accident prone, then this is

probably why.

Hi search,

Thank you for your message but fortunately I am not more accident prone than

anybody else.

Re: Ruler 6th with ruler 8th in the 1st

Hi Vita

As an aside and the Professor should confirm this but also whenever

lord of H6 and H8 is in a malefic house, the individual is greatly

subject to serious accidents especially if the indicators for

longevity are weak. If you are accident prone, then this is

probably why.

Thank you Professor. Please explain if 6L or 8L in H12 also cause

the same malefic harms.

Hello SB,

6L in 12H causes bad health, losses through theft, cheating and fire etc.

8th Lord in 12H makes one vulnerable to problems in marriage, loss of

assets, loss of inheritance, problems to father, etc.

Best wishes,

Hello dear Professor and members,

I think the subject attracted positive attention. For those to analyse the

concerned native's chart, I post his details below:

April 12, 1957

4h35 a.m. Zone = 2 east dst=0

Istanbul 28e58 41n01

The native is a dentist, has a son, divorced twice, parents not alive, enjoyed

reasonable inheritance. He comes from a well-known reputable family. His cousin

is on the top of society news and known by love scandals. However, I have seen

no chronical diseases, health problems, accidents, or so, except his son's

over-weigth problem. This is very interesting...

If you have comments, I appreciate it very much.

Best wishes,

Sinan

Hello Mr. Karacan,

The problem to the son is seen through the badly placed Moon under the

affliction of Ketu from the second house.

As separately written sixth and 8th lords together disturb marital happiness

and shows involvement in conflicts.

The conjunction also makes the person vulnerable to severe health

problems/accidents in the sub periods of the Sun and Venus.

Best wishes,
