I would like to know what is the difference between Kul Devata and

Ishta Devata. What is their significance? Can someone come to know

about his Ishta and Kul Devata through his kundali?

Hello Aditya,

Ishta devata can be recommended as per an individual's horoscope while Kul

Devata is the family diety. Both can be different.

Best wishes,

Hello Sir,

Do they have an effect on one's life? What importance do they hold?

Hello Aditya,

At some point of time the head of the family decides about the Kul Devata,

it is followed by the generations and it is only the elderly family members

who can tell about the Kul Devata . Kul Devata cannot be identified from

your horoscope.

Best wishes,
