First of all, Mr. Ambani was born in Junagadh, Gujarat, not in Bombay. Using the time of birth you've given, the ascendant moves to 13:30 Sagittarius. (i) Royal L9 Sun, though weak and under the influence of Ketu, is exactly on the MEP of the Ascendant. (ii) L11 Venus is on the MEP of 12th house (income from foreign sources) and aspects the 6th house (financial stability). (iii) Slightly weak L3 Saturn, who acts like the Sun to some extent, is in its own sign and is on the MEP of the 2nd house. Saturn's infuence on the 2nd house, in its own sign thereby amplifying Saturnian traits, took him to the field of oil initially (Rahu's influence also contributes here). When their analyses are so lousy I find it difficult to trust whether they are even using the proper chart. A leading and famous classical vedic astrologer continously uses the wrong data to further his claims and often moronic viewpoints. I'll let you guess for yourself who I'm referring to. Internet sources give his birthplace as Chorwad in the Junagadh district of Gujarat. L11 on MEP 12 can give income from foreign sources. Placement in the 12th house alone would not be sufficient. Rahu's influence on MEP 11 can cause both sudden gains and sudden losses for income. But then again it is difficult to trust any chart posted in the astrological magazines.
