Guest guest
Dear Esteemed , With regards to the Sun being a karaka for 2nd house matters... Do we include the 2nd house signification of accumulated wealth as being under the jurisdiction of the Sun, or do we restrict the Sun to representing the 2nd house matters of profession and status only? Thank you. Best Wishes, Arun All-new Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster.

Guest guest
DEAR MR ARUN RAO, I could not understand your question .Can you explain ? Proximity of Sun will cause combustion ..If it is Capricorn Lagna,Virgo etc SUN is a MMF. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Gopalakrishnan, A strong Sun in and of itself, regardless of functional nature, is good for status, profession, health, father, etc. So even though Sun is a FM for Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces, its general and particular significations will prosper if it is strong. When the Sun is a FB and strong/well-placed, its close conjunction with another well-placed FB is considered good for both it and the combust planet. The combust planet has its results magnified if it's well-placed, unafflicted, and not weak for any other reason. However, the combust planet is incapable of fighting off transit afflictions and can give ups and downs in life. In other words, it becomes volatile. When the Sun is a FM and is setting another planet combust within the 5 degree orb, the combust planet suffers very badly as it is both very weak and afflicted. When closely influencing any planet or house as a FB while being strong and unafflicted, the Sun will magnify the results of that house to a very good extent as it is a royal planet having the highest level of status. If it's weak, its influence is still good but to a lesser extent depending on its level of weakness. If the Sun influences as a FM, then it is undesirable for all planets/houses involved.
