Differrence between Ascendant & ascendant Lord

Learned members,

 

As we know, for delineation of any house, three factors are considered

important viz bhav/bhavesh/karka.

 

But I have doubts on importacne of each factor. for example if a

malefic is transiting over ascendant; what could be results. If a

malefic is transiting over ascendant lord, what could be the result

 

please suggest
