Guest guest
Dear Professor and List: Please consider the chart of a female, born February 15, 1948 at 12:15am Zone 5:00 EST, 76W01, 44N54. Having Rahu in good placement in House 7, not afflicting and weakened only by debilitation in Navamsha and dispositor, what can she expect of her Rahu main period? or Should more attention be paid to her subperiod rulers? With my best wishes, Chuck
Guest guest
Hello Dear Chuck Well I am responding on the list after a long gap. My understanding of the chart is as under: Seventh house of the chart is occupied by Rahu which is debilitated in Navamsha Chart. Mars is placed in 11th house in the sign of weak Sun (Infant and debilitated in D-9). Saturn is also week because of ill placement of the Moon in the sixth house. Moon is also in old age. Jupiter is in extreme infancy. Lagna lord Venus is also in 6th house though exalted. The difference between Lagna degrees and the degrees of malefic nodes is very narrow i.e. even a minute difference of 4-5 minutes in birth time may cause the affliction of the nodes to be operational on the chart. Anyway, right now, I am not considering the affliction of the nodes over the bhavas of the chart. The marital life of the native appears to have seen many ups and downs. The MD of Rahu, placed in 7th house, is more likely to cause mental and physical worries, journeys, instability (may be changing the place of residence frequently). The Native may remain extremely concerned with materialistic life. She may have a tendency to over-react over the circumstances which makes things more worse. The AD of Saturn may cause disputes with family members, relatives, children, employees. The Placement of Saturn in 10th house may help the native to generate sympathy in others and also help her. The health may remain a continuous cause of concern because of problems related to skin disorders and respiratory system etc. Rahu/Mercury may dilute the present problems to certain extent and health will also improve. Hence, I think that attention has to be paid to AD lords but the results will remain affected by the strength and position of Rahu in the chart.
