Benefic Saturn Transiting Cancer in 9th house

Hi,

 

Benefic Saturn is transiting Cancer in 9th house in this chart and it

is close to MEP of this house.

 

Lord of the 9th house is Moon, is in infancy and is placed in 10th

house.

 

9th house significations are foreign visit and father.

Moon significations are mental hapiness.

 

Saturn is in inimical sign(Cancer).

 

I noted in this person's there is a depressive feeling / mental

happiness is affected caused by the Father in this period.

Relationship with Father, however is not good even before the Saturn

moved to Cancer but its more depressive in this period.

 

Also there is plan for a foreign visit starting from 17th of July for

around 1 week (Very close affliction of Saturn to the MEP of the 9th

house) which did not get materialized.

 

Why this happen when Saturn is benefic for this chart? Is is because

of the following?

 

1) Saturn and Moon(9th Lord) does not get along with each other.

There are inimical and Saturn should be uncomfortable in doing its

work here.

 

2) Ketu (current sub period) which is placed in the 4th house owned

by Saturn is causing this.

Thanks Arun. Most of it makes sense to me except for this:

 

KETU'S DISPOSITOR SATURN HAD BEEN UNDER THE CLOSE/EXACT AFFLICTION OF

RAHU FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME; THIS ENDED AT THE END OF MAY. THESE

ARE SOME OF THE REASONS FOR THE PROBLEMS.

 

I am not able to see Saturn being under the close/exact affliction

of Rahu from the Jyotish tool especially by transit.

 

For the past one year, by transit Rahu was in Pisces (5th house) and

Saturn was in Cancer (9th house).

 

Really appreciate if you can explain, thanks.

Dear Danraj,

 

Rahu and Ketu have the aspects of 1st/7th/5th/9th from their positions.

 

Under SA, we use an orb of 5 degrees for afflictions to weak natal or

transit planets.

 

From the beginning of October 2005 through the end of May 2006, Rahu

had been aspecting transit Saturn in Cancer within this 5 degree orb.

 

Rahu from Pisces was aspecting Saturn in Cancer via its 5th house aspect.
