Dear Mr. Amar Puri,

This is quite a unique chart indeed. There are a plethora of reasons

for the native's profound interest in the subject area that you have

raised. For understanding great potential for successes in both the

spiritual and material spheres, please refer to the comments below:

- The strong Sun and the exceptionally strong Jupiter bless the native

with deep spiritual interest and spiritual power.

- The 4th house is very strong; consequently, its significations will

flourish. MT-lord Jupiter is exalted and young in close conjunction

with the strong lord of the ascendant, Mercury. Jupiter is strongly

placed in the 10th house of the navamsa, in its MT-sign with the

mystical sign Pisces rising therein. Additionally, strong Venus

closely influences the MEP of the 4th house. So, a deep interest in

matters of spirituality is obvious.

- The sign Pisces rising in the navamsa, along with the Sun placed in

the ascendant of the navamsa is another indicator. Hamsa Yoga forms in

the navamsa.

- The influence of the strong 4th lord on the lord of the ascendant

makes the spiritual quest an intrinsic part of the native's

personality. The lord of the 4th house being Jupiter only intensifies

this interest. The 4th house is a moksha sthana as well. Thus, the

influence of L4 on L1 would make the pursuit of moksha-related issues

almost biological.

- The other moksha lords Mars (L8) and Sun (L12) are in strength.

Sub-periods of Mars would heighten the native's interest in

occult/mystical studies. The strong lord of the 8th house will give

the native the impetus to explore the realm of the mystical/occult. He

or she would likely sway away conventional religious studies during

the sub-period of Mars because of its close affliction to the 9th

house MEP.

- The 10th house, ruling one's karma in life among other things is

strong. This is seen through the close influence of strong FB Venus on

its MEP. Venus in the 10th house, being both Venus itself and the

strong lord of the 2nd house, is great for material life and affluence

through one's career.

- Strong 11th lord Moon along with the strong Sun, strong 2nd lord,

strong 10th house, and strong ascendant lord are very promising for

successes and achievements in the material sphere. The 2nd, 10th, and

11th houses are well tenanted by strong planets, with no afflictions

to any of the aforementioned MEP's. Again, this is good for successes

in the artha and kama spheres of life. So the native is prime for

success in all spheres of life.

- Good gains through friends and elder siblings are indicated via the

strong L1 in the 11th house.

Sub-periods of Rahu, Ketu, and Saturn would pose many challenges for

the native. The significations of the 6th house are likely to suffer

during any of these sub-periods. MMP Mars' affliction to Saturn and

Rahu will intensify the challenges. Sub-periods of Mars would be

challenging as well for the significations of the 9th and 3rd houses.

I hope I wasn't too longwinded...many thanks for sharing such an

intriguing chart.

Best Wishes,

Arun Rao

Hello Mr. Puri,

Strong Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and the Sun bless the person with knowledge

and the knowledge of scriptures. Besides these, the Moon and Mars are also

strong. The strong planets take care of the affliction of nodes to Saturn

to a large extent.

Dear Mr. Pradeep,

The lord of the 12th house placed in the 8th house can give one an

interest in mystical knowledge. I myself have this placement (Simha

lagna, Moon in the 8th house).

The placement of L12 in the 8th house is undesirable for

significations like peace of mind, life in foreign lands, and

comforts to some extent. Out of one's discomfort arises the desire

for mystical knowledge.

In your case, if the lord of the 8th house Venus is strong, then

Saturn's placement in the 8th house can be considered somewhat less

difficult. The exaltation of Saturn is an added boon to some degree.

Apart from this, a strong Sun and/or Jupiter help tremendously with

one's spiritual life.

Chandra lagna is not a relevant concept as per the Systems'

Approach. The lord of the 8th house in the 12th house would give

similar tendencies as the lord of the 12th in the 8th house. The

placement of the Moon in the 6th house makes one more prone to

illness, disputes regarding children and romances, etc. Of course,

the whole chart must be analyzed.

Respected Professor,

Thank you very much for your kind clarification. I have a further querry

concerning the Navamsa Chart in which Rahu afflicts Mars and Jupiter and

Mars afflicts Mercury associating with Venus.

Do these afflictions not contribute further impedements both in Mundane and

Spiritual life for the native ?

Since 6 L Sun occupy the Asdt., 5 L Moon exalted and 10 L Jupiter in his

own MT house though afflicted in the Navamsa indicate further that the

native may lead by example to the massive people in the Spiritual life

through his preaching mission and open Centre around the world.

Am I correct ?

Further should the native get married, it also indicates lots of material

problems such as health and finances etc. both in the Rashi and Navamsa

chart which may set back towards deviation from his Spiritual life.

Do you see such possibilities ?

Thank you immensely.

Best regards...............Amar Puri.

Hello Mr. Puri,

In SA Divisonal charts are used for trying the strength of the planets. All

aspects are to be seen on the basis of collective planetary strengths but

with main focus on the main rasi chart.

Also see my replies, in your message below in capitals, to your other

questions.

Best wishes,
