Dear Mr. Sharma and the List,

Hare Krishna.

As you said Rahu is a Legenry Planet in addition to my opinion very

deceptive which always covers up the Reality of the Truth . That is why the

native becomes Bold and Courageous to acquire what ever i.e. a Position,

Fame and Material Assets for sense gratification and thus, becoming a

Pleasure Seeker at all cost for a personal glorification be it a Spiritual

or Material level.

With my best wishes..................Amar Puri.

Dear Mr. Sharma and List,

Well I just mentioned one aspect of Rahu among several aspects. In

the expression of duality Rahu is foremost. In Understanding Rahu one

has to Understand Ketu as well, Ketu is advanced in the spiritual

plane but suffers materially; Rahu is the opposite, material and

delusional. Human life is in between the delusion and dilemma of what

is right and what is wrong, between whether all spiritual inclination

is good, all materialism or in between.

The combined functioning of Rahu and Ketu in a chart and its effect

on human life, is the expression of the above metaphysics. How it

manifests in the world of Maya can take different dimensions

depending on the social structure we are talking about, what may be

correct in the west may not be perceived in the east as good, despite

all such manifested differences at a more subtle level, human

proclivity is the same, to find the right balance between Rahu and

Ketu. The Middle path the Systems Approach.:)

That we are discussing Rahu is in itself manifestation of Rahu, What

to talk about Rahu, It gives and takes, it is impermanence, it is the

delusion, it is the temporary feeling of having everything, it shows

love to get something in return, it will show hate to make you desire

love, it will give wealth at the expense of something else, it will

give energy of expression and give confidence and will also create

opposition to the same, it will influence one in making socially or

morally(or any such reference) aberrant unconscious moves and make

one learn lessons in life and yet again creates situation where one

commits the same mistakes, Rahu's behavior can go on. It is your

material experience and can be varied.

What is the Manas " Mind " the moon, the moon is hemmed between the two

imaginary spatial planes called the nodes, called Rahu and Ketu,

Human life is largely what? the Manas, what you believe in

culturally, socially, morally etc is what life is for most, the Manas

manifests the experience and the nodes create the delusion about it,

Maya is not just the attraction to materialism, Maya is the confusion

of what stance to take, spiritual or material, while the answer is

the balance in between the nodes the steady state of the Manas the

Moon and the life giving Sun.

Regards

Amit
