Oprah Winfrey / Birthtime with Rodden Ratings

Please accept my apologies for the confusion regarding Oprah's birth

time. Previously stated as 7:50 PM ( as quoted in " Vedic Astrology " by

Andrew Bloomfield), upon further research, 04:30AM is her birth time

with Rodden Rating of " A " (As members may know, the Rodden Rating

system was developed to eliminate anomalies in birth data and the

category " A " is defined as " Accurate data as quoted by the person,

kin, friend, or associate " )

 

The chart looks quite different with the new data and answers the

questions raised by all of you i.e. SU and VE are tied closely in 2nd

house explaining fame and fortune. These are well placed in AS in D-9

too.

 

Reverting back to the genesis of this discussion thread, where do we

see the (a) sexual abuse (b) generosity / philathropic nature. ( JU is

now locked up in sixth house)

Dear Mr. Mahendra,

 

Thanks for all your efforts. This chart works better than the previous

one in my view. Strong Sun, who is in young age and conjunct FB Venus,

is placed the 2nd house, and would be the main reason for her

staggering financial successes; the Sun is Sagittarius Ascendant's

primary significator of wealth. Venus is combust, but is benefitting

from its close conjunction with the strong Sun in the 2nd house of

status/wealth. Sun too will benefit from its association with Venus to

a lesser extent than the latter would.

 

Sexual abuse can be attributed to the close affliction of MMP Moon to

the 12th house MEP, along with the exact affliction of badly placed

Ketu on the utterly weak Mars (being the 5th lord). The weakness and

affliction to Mars has kept her childless; the weakness of Moon has

kept her bachelorette. Other than the Sun, all of her planets are

weak. As a result, numerous disturbances are possible in her life.

 

A strong Sun can act in a similar fashion as a strong Jupiter would.

So, the strength of Sun in this case can also invoke generosity and a

warm heart.

 

Ms. Winfrey's rise to prominence occurred during her Venus main-period

and is continuing on through her current mahadasha of strong Sun. The

mahadasha of Moon, commencing in 2011, will be quite troublesome

especially from a health/longevity point of view.

 

As this chart has an 'A' rating opposed to a 'AA' rating, some

refinements in the birthtime can still be made.
