It is not a fm for Leo ascendant and the term " afflicting " should not be used for its conjunctions or aspects. Please explain whenever you have an opportunity. Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Report Share Posted March 30, 2006 Dear Tridev Ji, Let me tell you I am a relatively newcomer in the field of jyotish and is just trying to learn the nuance of Systems approach of analysis,.Hence my explanations need not necessarily be correct.What I understand is Saturn is sixth lord for Leo ascendant and in Transit it is throwing its 10 th house aspect (Call it square aspect , if you want it that way ) to the radical Ascendant lord Sun . Sachin had just commenced Mercury subperiod posited in its 8th house (Surgery).Mercury is within 51/2 * orb of MEP of 8th house and therefore capable of influencing the significations of 8th house ;and this is the reason for Sachin undergoing operation day before yesterday at London.In Transit, the sub period lord Mercury became weak by being in old age and attained debilitation in D-9.You may also take note that Tr Sat in retrogression formed a semi-sextile with the rising degree mentioned by Madhu Nair in his article and formed an exact square not only to natal Sun, the lord of the ascendant,but also to MEP of sixth house (Wounds, bruises etc ) on the surgery day. Interestingly, Tr Nodes are afflicting the MEP of eighth house (Surgery) highlighting 8th house significations.To Sum up, the Systems Analysis evolved by prof Chaudary , read with the time of birth of Sachin ,given in the referred article of Mr Nair, fully explains the current predicament of Sachin. For Leo ascendant, Saturn is lord of 7th house and not 6th, as aquarius is the MT sign of saturn and thus we take the lordship of its MT sign. I hope i have made myself clear.
