Dear Esteemed ,

In a scenario where the Sun combusts another planet in the latter's

MT-sign and both planets are FB's and are closely conjunct, how weak

would we really consider the Sun to be (assuming that there are no

other afflictions/weaknesses to either planet)? Would we consider

strengthening measures for the Sun as well in this case? I would think

that the significations of the Sun would not be weakened in this case,

except for transit afflictions. For example, a Gemini ascendant native

with the Sun and Mars closely conjunct one another in Aries would fall

under this category.

Thanks again Professor.

Best Wishes,

Arun Rao

TO SOME EXTENT.

Would we consider

YES, IT SHOULD BE.

Hi Professor,

Adding to this question: what happens when we strengthen a planet

that is already very strong? Do we get an overpowering effect that

causes problems?

I don't think so because the special power kavach strengthens all

FBs and there are no concessions for leaving out the yantra for an

already strong planet, (or is there?).

BTW, thanks for the last reply on not strengthening Ra/Ke.

Dear Professor,

If we strengthen a planet that is already natally very strong, what

would be the effect?

I don't think it would be a problem because in using the kavach,

there is no concession to my knowledge, to remove the yantra of an

already very strong planet.

Hello Vyas,

It is good and helpful as it covers the transit weakness of the planet.

Dear List,

Please ignore my last message. I posted this yesterday, but it

IT IS GOOD AS THE STRENGTH COVERS TRANSIT WEAKNESS OF THE STRONG PLANET.

Do we get an overpowering effect that

NO.

YOU ARE RIGHT IT DOES NOT CAUSE ANY PROBLEM BUT IS HELPFUL.

Dear Esteemed ,

Yes, this makes sense. Although the weakness of the Sun is not very

serious, a slow-moving transit or stationary nodal influence will be

difficult for it to bear. Thanks again.

Dear Mr. Munidas,

I had the same problem a few days ago. Things seem to be working fine

now though.
