Guest guest
Dear Esteemed , I am a bit confused regarding the role of Saturn when acting as a functional benefic. In some of the case studies pertaining to Capricorn/Aquarius ascendant individuals (http://www.yournetastrologer.com/theory/t32.htm, http://www.yournetastrologer.com/theory/t33.htm), FB Saturn's close conjunction to the MEP of either the ascendant, 2nd, or 11th house(s) is described as being restrictive to one's status/wealth, even when in strength. However, in another case (http://www.yournetastrologer.com/theory/t29.htm - please see the July 13, 1957 example), Saturn is not described as being at all limiting to one's status/wealth when closely conjunct the MEP of the 2nd house. Instead, this person is described as being a " beautiful multi-millionaire " . Also, when discussing case studies of business entrepreneurs (http://www.yournetastrologer.com/appli/a16.htm - the second example given), Saturn's influence on the MEP of the 3rd house for a Leo native is described as being responsible for " huge financial benefits " . I am led to believe that Saturn's restrictive nature is only apparent in Capricorn/Aquarius natives' charts since it rules the particular significations of status and profession for both, being the planet of lowest status. Of course this too would depend on the sign/dispositor. To summarize, I am seeking clarification regarding FB Saturn's role in promoting one's status/wealth. Thank you. Best Wishes, Arun Rao
Guest guest
Hello Mr. Arun Rao, Each and every principle cannot be discussed at each and every place. There have been some changes also in the principles and some of the books have been updated. I update things as per my capacity and capability. Predictive techniques have been updated and the learners instead of getting confused should see the case studies in the light of the updated predictive techniques. Saturn's influence is different in different signs. Guest guest
Hello Mr. Rao, In the case of Capricorn asdt, Saturn is one of the determinants of the profession. In the case of Aquarius, Saturn is the prime determinant of the profession. In the case of Libra, the prime determinant of the profession is the Moon. Secondly, the strength of Saturn and its placement in different signs also makes a difference. Guest guest
Dear Prof ji, How can saturn be the prime determinant of profession for Aquarius asdt ? Will it not be 10th, 2nd and Sun, which implies that it should be Sun. Please suggest if it is correct. Guest guest
Thanks Professor, I guess I should read a little more then! It's convenient (and lazy) to just ask when you are so easily available, but it could be bothersome on your end. I'm also very busy for most of the day, so if it comes up and I don't recall it right away, I have tendency to ask immediately if the source is available and reliable. Thanks for your patience. Guest guest
Dear Esteemed , Sincere thanks for your informative replies. It is difficult indeed to generalize these more subtle points regarding Saturn; each and every chart has to be independently studied in depth. For a Leo native with Saturn and Venus closely conjunct one another and to the MEP of the 3rd house in Libra (assuming both planets are strong and unafflicted), would the involvement of Saturn at all decrease the level of Venus' affluence? Thanks again Professor. Best Wishes, Arun Rao , <siha wrote: > > > Hello Mr. Rao, > > In the case of Capricorn asdt, Saturn is one of the determinants of the > profession. Guest guest
Hello Mr. Rao, The best place is the revised edition of the books. The revised edition of Predictive Techniques book is likely to come up after about three weeks. I stopped writing for the journals about ten years back since the editors had problems publishing my articles. SA was making the books written by them obsolete.
