If Rahu is unafflicted and well placed generally the grand parents may not meet problems or face less challenges after the birth of the child. If Rahu causes exact or very close affliction in the chart it is considered to be the curse due to past karma. The reason I asked this question was that since the death of my maternal uncle (1984) and my maternal grand mother (1990), I have often seen them in my dreams. Also I keep dreaming about my maternal grandparents' house till today though it does not even exist now. I can not remember myself being very emotionally attached to them when they were alive. That is why I could not figure out what has been happening in my sub-conscious mind for so many years. I tried to find an astrological connection and was looking into 12th house of sleep and dreams. Could not find anything connected with Rahu and the 12th house or the 4th house (home). So, I am still confused. Maybe you can help me in clearing the mystery if and when you have the time. My birth detail is: 16-11-1968 3.25 am Faridabad (India) Thank you very much sir. Ketu is conjunct with the ascendant in your chart and also aspects the MEP of the fifth house. It is believed that very exact or close afflictions are caused due to unhappy relations or curses by the relations signified by the afflicting planet. For example close affliction by Rahu is indicative of curses of forefathers. The close affliction of the lord of the eighth house makes possibility of a curse or make one vulnerable to curse of father and/or guru. While the existing afflictions can be tackled with the help of consistent and continuous propitiatory remedies the vulnerability should be checked by not making the concerned relations unhappy.
