Dear Professor,

Should precise muhurtha timing be applied in:

Marriage: beginning of the ceremony or moment of exchange of vows/rings?

Beginning high level employment: signing of contract or beginning

first day of work?

Thank you Sir,

Jonathan

I'll take a crack at this:-

Marriage - from the time the ceremony starts. This is why the

emphasis is to start on time. Paper signing (esp in Vedic marriages)

is a relatively new concept.

Job - contract signing is the usually considered start point.

However, we've seen in mundane astrology that papers are signed

after, but the start time is the moment one accepts the

position/proposition at an earlier time. I reckon if you make it

clear in your mind beforehand, that nothing is sealed till the ink

is on the paper, then this is the moment you check from.

Best regards,
