Question about 6th lord afflicting 2nd house.

Dear ,

 

I understand that the influence of 6th lord on 2nd house MEP would

give conflicts in Family.

 

My question is, if the 6th lord is in 6th house on the MEP and aspecting

the second house, what should be the effect?

 

1. Will the conflicts be more severe because the afflicting planet is

aspecting from 6th house. OR

 

2. Since the 6th lord is well placed, should we assume that the additional

maleficence due to afflicting planet being in 6th house will NOT be

there.

 

This case would be applicable to Cancer ascendant only and the

6th lord would be Jupiter.

YES, BUT DAMAGE WILL BE SLIGHTLY LESS BECAUSE OF SIXTH LORD PROTECTING SIXTH

HOUSE AND IF THE SUN IS OTHERWISE STRONG/WELL PLACED.

affliction of 6th lord. I see that in all people born

in 1980 first half and in Vrischika Lagna, The 2nd

lord Jupiter is under afflication of 6th lord Mars.

Can we conclude all these people will have troubled

family life, conflict with spouse (more in the case of

women, because Jupiter is also the Kaaraka for

Husband).

 

In the case of Vrischika Lagna, Venus also being

Malefic, the only planets left which can tilt the

balance are the Sun and Moon. Like if the Moon is in

Tauras (exalted) and in MEP, we could consider that as

a saving grace. I do understand Sun is the Second

Karaka and in case Sun is strong, well placed and un

afflicted in the case Vrischika Lagna, that will be a

saving grace in both career and family life.

Each chart is unique so we can't generalize.

MEP too is an Important concept in SA.

 

During the time you mentioned, Mars is afflicting 2nd lord for Scorpio

ascendant. and was

placed in 10th house with second lord jupiter.

 

Nodes were in 4th and 10th so if they were on MEP, that would have caused

further damage by Rahu's 5th aspect on 2nd and Ketu's influence on 4th, 8th

and 12th, thus

spoiling marriage and married life further.

 

If Mars was on MEP that would have brought problems in family as it would

afflict second

lord as well as the MEP of fourth house.

 

If Mars and nodes were not on the MEP, the problems would not be as bad.

 

During the time you mentioned, Saturn, the 4th lord was weak.

Strength of Venus and afflictions to it too would have an effect.

 

Like you said, strength of Moon would have been helpful for scopions during

that time.

Thanks for the response.

I have one more query. In one of your replies, you

have mentioned about Rahu's direct affliction to SUN

and that

makes a person vulnerable to manipulation.

 

I would like to know if such people are vulnerable to

manipulation or they are manipulative themselves,

meaning their basic character is questionable.

 

Rahu represnets darkness and Sun brightness, so the

direct

affliction to Sun causes ECLIPSE. When Rahu is

directly afflicting to Sun, then Ketu will also be

afflicting meaning Stomach problems and poor health on

the whole.

 

Also what is the ORB of affliction of Rahu/Ketu in the

 

software generating horoscope in your website.

 

What is your opinion on this?

 

I saw the Asdt to be 4 deg, rahu in 10 th house to be

in

5 deg 42 min, but it did not say Rahu afflicting 2,4,6

 

and 10 houses howcome?
