Exalted Malefics - follow up Fraser post

Dear Professor,

 

As follow up to Fraser's post, I would like to ask whether when for

example a malefic planet is exalted does it actually harm the house

where it is placed? I ask this because it would make sense if it did

not since it would be logical to think it would be welcome to be

there. Capricorn, for example welcomes Mars, so why would Mars harm

its house? In Fraser's chart example, would this make sense?

Hello Dev,

 

Sometimes the parents will have money to make up for the deficiencies of the

child and sometimes they will not have. Strong eighth lord makes available

the finances. The affliction by a weak lord of the eighth house can cause

obstructions but provide no financial help.

Dear Professor,

 

Pls forgive me if I miss something. The explanation below is applicable for

charts where there is a MT in the 8th, isn't it? When there is no MT in the 8th,

for instance for Librans, which planets/houses are to be considered for similar

position of the case below?
