Guest guest
Hi, I would like to know if Systems approach has any relevance for the Kandak Shani. In South India Traditional approach, i find undue importance being given to this aspect. Kandak means " thorn " , so the period of 2.5 yrs of sidereal transit of saturn in the 7th house from moon is referred to as Kandak Shani i.e is a very difficult period bringing about seperation, travel to distant places and all round un happinees/delays and difficulties. If we look at the whole thing from systems approach, only if the Saturn is malefic for the lagna, the transit saturn may cause problems, and in cases like Libra Asdt, Shani turns out to be a yogakara and the Moon is also FB, suppose the moon is placed in a Kendra position(4th house) and saturn is also well placed in 11th house with strong dispositor and no affliction. How can the saturn transit said to be bad ? Regards, Venu Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
