Respected guruji,

Sadar Pranam,

I have procured all the books authored by you & started with the 'SELF

LEARNING COURSE IN ASTROLOGY' . I wish to clarify the following points:-

--------------------

1. On page 11, the states of combustion of planets quote " on either side

of the sun " unquote is defined as follows:-

Moon = 12 degrees

Mars = 17 - " -

Mercury = 14 - " -

Venus = 10 - " -

Jupiter = 11 - " -

Saturn = 15 - " -

---

Now on the example given in page 79 of the same book (date 6 Sep 91, Time

03:15 AM, place =delhi 77 13'E, 28 39'N) says , quote " Combust planets = Nil "

In the example and according to the definition, when sun of the native is at

19-05' degrees, then Moon at 14-28', Mars at 09-14', Mercury at 01-17', Jupiter

at 04-54', Venus at 28-22' degrees should all be combust, since they fall within

the combust range on either side of the sun. Please let me know if I have

misunderstood.

2. The second question is concerning my own horoscope:-

Date - 14 May 1966 / Time - 3: 35 PM / Place - Lucknow (80 E 54', 26 N 50' )

When I used Junior Jyotish software, I was informed that when planets are FB,

they will not be shown as combust. However, I have calculated that the following

FB & FM planets are also combust by the above definition:- (apart from Mars

which is shown as combust)

If,

Sun is at 29 degrees 48'

then are these planets also combust?

>FM Saturn at 3 deg 38' falls within 15 degrees on either side

of Sun

>FM Moon at 21 deg 04' falls within 12 degrees on either side

of Sun

>MBP Jupiter at 8 deg 21' falls within 11 degrees on either

side of Sun

Please do let me know if there has been any problem in understanding which

planets are combust planets.

Thank you,

aschel
