For Taurus Asc.---ninth house for spirituality-is the strength to be taken in regards to the Lord (Saturn)? and also what if ketu is posited in the 9th house--but saturn being weak elsewhere-- Is the native spiritual or otherwise ? From what you do supply, I can confidently say Ketu is good for spirituality, so that would indeed enhance that particular 9th house signification but depending on the the MEP it may or not create distance from the Father and other general significations - remember that spirituality can mean detachment from this world, and in a way that is what Ketu does - I have Ketu on my 9th myself and I have never lived with my father, we were separated when I was 2 years of age, but I am very much spiritually orientated. In my view for Taurus ascendant Strength and placement of 8th lord Jupiter and 12th lord Mars un-afflicted and un-afflicting. Strength of 3rd lord of initiatives, an unafflicted Sun and 10th lord of Karma Saturn would indicate the level of spiritual advancement. Both Sun and Jupiter are placed there and un afflicted. But in the Navamsha jupiter is placed well but slightly weakened because of a weak dispositor and Sun is placed in the 8th and aspected by ketu so does that mean that there will be obstructions in spiritual pursuits...? How does one interpret this considering that the navamsha is looked at for religious pursuits? Ketu 10:30deg from the 9thHouse is afflicting(30%) Jupiter 06:59 deg in the 5th house -. Its a weak affliction, considering the degrees are more than 3 apart. BUT would this so-called 'strong' position of Jupiter spoil the 5th,9th,11th,1st Houses, in the chart, as Jupiter is the most malefic planet for Taurus ? Both of these planets are not debilitated in navamsa. Dispositor concept is not applied in navamsa.
