Seventh Lord in eighth House-remedies

The eighth house represents betrayal. If a planet occupies this house,

usually it can point to betrayal subject to other confirmations.

If this planet is the 5th Lord, then the betrayal is due to sons and

if it is 7th Lord, the betrayal is from spouse.

However, this betrayal from spouse should not taken as indication of

extra marital affair but it will often take the form of seperation

from spouse in hour of need.

It also indicates failures and disappointments in love affairs with

the lover walking away first.

For those born in punya tithis such as panchami and dasami, the native

ruled by vayu tatwa and not only saturn will have more effect on the

native-there by creating some confusion- but also, native will be

'weightless' like air and can not be commanding the situation.

Ironically, the spouse will have much respect for the native, in view

of the sacredness of the tithi, yet the seperation or atleast, lots of

hot air on the domestic front can be predicted.

Of course, there is a high possibility that this betrayal takes the

form of infidelity and the spouse having an extra marital affair, if

the natal Venus of the spouse is in scorpio and scorpio is an Arudha

house. ( it is more or less confirmed if apart from the above, the

spouse was born in a punya tithi.)

I hope the gurujan on this group agree with my above comments.

Now, I request the senior and learned members of the group to throw

light on remedies against the 'betrayal' of the spouse.

I have two suggestions. The group may kindly condemn or confirm them too.

1. Visit Hanuman temple regularly and read Sundara Kanda

2. Ensure that marriage occurs in an akash tithi or if not, conduct a

mock marriage later on a suitabe akash tithi.

I hope the respected members of the forum respond.

Hello Mr. Mohan,

Planets placed in the eighth house face obstructions and these obstructions

can be on any account including betrayal or delays or separations.

In my view the planet placed in the eighth house, if a functional benefic,

should be strengthened for better results.

Best wishes,

Respected Sir,

It is very interesting what you wrote. In my mother in law's chart -Aquarius

Lagna-Jup and Venus are in the 7th house in Leo but the 7th Lord Sun is in

the 8th conjunct with 8th Lord Mercury. He died in 1996,leaving her a widow

now for more than 9 years. She is still alive and healthy.

Will it not increase the melefic effects of 8th H for the native.

By strengthening a planets we hope to strength its general

significance, significance of its MT sign house and significance of

its place of posted in natal chart.

Hello Mr. Sharma,

By strengthening a planet we enhance the significations of its MT sign house

and its general significations and not of the house of its placement.

Dear choudhryji,

What you have said is right in general terms. But I have raised a

speicific querry. The classical writers are unanimous in saying

that the 7th Lord in eighth(except for ascendants of Cancer) is not

a desirable place to be in, resulting in limited and miserable

conjugal life.

Most of them have pointed towards seperation. In my post, I have

tried to find the fundamental reason for such misery and seperation-

which seems to be 'betrayal'. Betrayal as I said need not point to

extra marital relations but could be of general nature also.

Now, my question is if you see a native with such position, what

are the remedies you are going to suggest?

It is indeed a tough question though I have suggested two obvious

ways out- reading sundara kanda or having (real or mock) marriage

during an akash tithi represent union and work against seperation,

by betrayal or otherwise.

It is heartening to receive several mails, mostly from natives,

confirming my observation from their natal charts. Interestingly, an

elderly gentle man has written to me that he had been ditched by his

colleagues and I noticed his 10th Lord is placed in 8th!

I hope there are more specific replies to my querry than the general

type of answer given by you.

HOpe to hear from the Learned Group Members,

Dear Professor,

In my case, (Scorpio ascendant), Venus (7th lord) is in the 8th house, but

the MT is in the 12th house, so it is MMP for Scorpio. In this case, I

know that it should never be strengthened. But is it good, that the lord

of the 12th is weak( by placement in 8th)?

Hello dear Mr. Sharma,

For Scorpio ascendant there is no MT sign in the seventh house. Though the

weakness is not good for any planet yet I do not recommend strengthening of

functional malefic planets.

Best wishes,

Dear Sir,

Any planet(FB) placed in a specific house apart from having a say in

its own MT and general significations would affect the factors of

that house? In case the planet is strengthened not only would it

protect its MT and general significations but I'm assuming that the

house in which it is placed would also recieve its benefic

influence...?

So if the house is a dushtana(6,8,12) then would the negative

qualities of that house be reduced to a certain extent due to the

strengthening of the planet(FB) placed there...? especially if that

planet happens to be on the MEP of that house?

Just one more clarification...a planet in the 8th becomes weak

unless it is its own moolatrikona house...am I right?

So for a cancer ascendant Saturn on the MEP of the eighth house

would not make it weak...right?

Would it be considered as afflicting the 8th house since it is on

the MEP?

Thanks and regards,

PNR
