Dashas at Birth

Dear Professor and list in general,

 

 

 

I have done the chart of this girl and her planets are quite weak: debilitated

Sun, Mars and Venus. She is Taurus lagna.

 

Yesterday she told me she writes a lot, so I was trying to confirm any strong

Mercurian influence on her chart, but her Mercury is combust and her 3rd house

ruler is weak... So I was intrigued and checked her dasha at birth and she was

running the Mercury dasha at birth.

 

Is it correct to assume that her Mercury is strong because it is her 1st dasha

lord at birth? Would the dashas at birth have any influence and make some

planets stronger?

 

 

 

Her data is October 25th 1977 at 7pm in barcelona.
