Guest guest
Dear Professor: I recently read article on your website " Main Period Of Ketu " . The reference about the propitiation of Ketu is very useful, especially for people who can't feed street dogs. " The best way to propitiate Ketu in its dasa is to feed street dogs, if possible, or reciting the mantra 'Om Sri Ganeshaye Namah'. The recitation of mantra can be done in the morning after bath and before breakfast. A minimum of 101 recitations daily during the sub-period of Ketu would be sufficient to ward-off the evils. " What about Rahu? You have indicated that Bhairava is a lord for Rahu. So which mantra is useful for propitiation of Rahu? Is it reciting Kalabhairavashtakam? Thank you Yogesh
Guest guest
Hello Yogesh, For Rahu part of breakfast is given to the birds in the morning and as an alternative one can recite Kalabhairavashtakam. Guest guest
I have also read somewhere that Lord Narsimha should also be worshipped for Ketu and recitation of the first chapter of Durga Saptashati is good for Rahu. Do you agree with this? Guest guest
Hello Mr. Sharma, One can do these recitations, as well. It is helpful to some extent. Best wishes, - <prithvi.sharma Monday, August 29, 2005 2:31 PM Re: Article on Ketu Transit >I have also read somewhere that Lord Narsimha should also be worshipped > for Ketu and recitation of the first chapter of Durga Saptashati is good > for Rahu.
