Sequence to the Planetary Yantras

After some considerable probing and calculating from

the Vedic square, I finally came up with how the

sequence of the planets origionated and came about.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

 

First I looked at the Vedic square to see if there was

any coherent sequence in the number patterns but I

could not find any except the Sun and Moon. I used the

book by Harish Johari entitled, " Numerology With

Tantra, Ayurveda, and Astrology. "

 

Then I looked at the Navagraha Stotram by Srila

Vyasadeva. This prayer gives the correct planetary

order in the stanzas starting from the Sun. The magic

square begins here and is incremented for each of the

planets in sequence and ending with Ketu. Its

perfectly logical.

 

The ancient seers probaly used to recite the prayer

and inscribe each of the yantras as they chanted the

stotram. This seems like the best explanation to me.

Does anyone want to share some comments on this

thread?
