Both are away from mep. Sun is strong and unafflicted, whereas Ma, which is combust in this case, is strong by degree, unafflicted but debil in navamsa chart. Is it true to say that the native's 3rd H and natal Sun are supported by general significations of Ma (i.e. energy, endurance, courage, etc.) , however particular significations of Ma (11th H; his income and older siblings) are at risk during malefic transits, due to combustion and debil position?? Whatelse could be said? Secondly, 2nd H lord Moon (weak by infancy and bright) conjuncts Ra in 8th H within 1 degree orb.; both are away from mep. Is it true to say that the native enjoys inheritance, however family matters and continuance of family/marriage are at risk? I know, Ra's affliction to Moon makes the native emotionally imbalanced, worried, etc., could the same affliction create manipulative tendencies? Thirdly, the native is unmarried so far and she is running thru Ra/Ve period. I would say she could marry during the current Ve bhukti, because both Ve and Jup are strong and unafflicted. She has good organisational and communication capability. You are right during the malefic transits on the combust Mars some short lived problems may arrive in the matters of income and health. Your understanding regarding the afflicted Moon is right and this person is vulnerable to loss of wealth, status, relationships and mental stability. While prediction for marriage can be made for the sub period of Venus she should be warned for the affliction of the Moon and she should strengthen her Moon and propitiate both Rahu and Ketu regularly.
