I do have a question - I know there are lot of internet sites and other places where one can get ephemeris and exact location of planets etc.. Does anybody ahve a detailed algorith/ white paper/ formulas/ book showing how to calculate something like that at home. I just want to get deep into astrology. Will appreciate your help. If you just want an accurate ephemeris for your own use then just download and implement the Swiss Ephemeris which is based on the JPL ephemeris: www.astro.com If you want to learn celestial mechanics then that is another matter entirely and can be a life's work.
