Ephemeris Calculation

Hello All,

 

I am a newbie to SA and as I am rading more the books of professor I

am loving it everyday.

 

I do have a question - I know there are lot of internet sites and

other places where one can get ephemeris and exact location of planets

etc.. Does anybody ahve a detailed algorith/ white paper/ formulas/

book showing how to calculate something like that at home.

 

I just want to get deep into astrology.

 

Will appreciate your help.

You will get his email id there. Ask him, he will be able to tell you.

But he is a pretty busy man ..........

It depends on how deep you want to go into it. If you just want an

accurate ephemeris for your own use then just download and implement the

Swiss Ephemeris which is based on the JPL ephemeris: www.astro.com

 

If you want to learn celestial mechanics then that is another matter

entirely and can be a life's work. Here is a site with the basics as

well as links if you want to go deeper into the subject:
