Dear Priya,

Happy New Year

Just to be sure:if I start feeding the cats for Rahu, worshiping Shri Ganesha for Ketu and appling haldi tilak for Guru at different days, can I repeat all of them together on another day?

Also, upayas that are about ways of life (e.g eating or avoiding certaing things, honouring the elders, or brother etc. ) should be done as per upaya rules or not?

Respected Punditji, Sadar Namastey From your mail to Bobby Mehrotra I have just realised something and need your guidance. Normally when I go out of the house to bury something for an upaya I make sure not to bring back the digging tool. Sometime ago my son had to bury some copper pieces in our own garden where grass grows as advised by you for an upaya. Because it was in our own garden, he didn't take the digging tool out of the garden and even after burying its lying there among other tools. If its an error I can do two things: Either I throw away that digging tool now or I can ask him to do the upaya again and this time I make sure that I throw away the tool, may be in the garbage. Can you please advise? Thankyou very much for guiding us, Rekha
