About your beliefs

Respected Sir,

For a long time I was curious to know something about you. I learnt about you to an extent from the forums. Initially I was hesitant but now I feel comfortable asking you.

 

Both these questions are aimed at knowing your beliefs and not about my beliefs. I look upon you as a mentor and I request you to clarify these doubts if possible.

1.Being from IIT, I am really surprised to see that you are an ardent follower/scholar of astrology (not that I am complaining). Now-a-days, most of the people I talk to despise astrology saying that "destiny is in our hands","what will God do", "we have to put our efforts" etc...Most of these people are the ones who fortunately have been successful in life without much problems. As a rare case, I have one friend of mine who is suffering so much in all fronts like Job, no marriage,not much money,skin issues , bad in decision making etc... but he never cares to meet an astrologer.

What pulled you towards astrology in spite of being in such an intellectual community as IIT? Especially since you are successful in life, I feel that problems wouldn't have attracted you towards astrology. Being successful yourself by hard work, anyone would have expected you to advise hard work. Am I right?

Finally, anyway I am glad that I happened to meet you.

2.Sir, in your belief,do you in anyway link Astrology with science.

A. Do you believe that depending upon the planetary positions in a chart, the person's behavior will be like this, he may face these diseases because of his thinking and behavior and actions etc...

 

For example during Sade Saathi, all of a sudden one becomes angry, lazy,don't take proper decisions etc... which in turn leads to failure.

B. I am asking this question because, I am doing Pranayama these days which also helps me in controlling my mind and also in prayers.

So, if my Mars is placed in such a way that it causes anger, and I am controlling it through Pranayama, is this another solution? or irrespective of pranayama Mars has to be appeased?

C.So, is it enough to control the emotions or is it also about luck factor which the planets bless upon us? Is a good mental state the reason for luck or luck is irrespective of the person's mentality?

As per my understanding, I have to appease the planets if they are not well placed in my chart. Even if I am a perfect person in terms of intelligence and mentality.
