Dear Dennis,

The 2nd house is the significator of voice { vaani }, both in terms

of quality and the content.

You have Saturn in the 2nd house. Saturn is dark, bleak and abrasive.

It will be too much to expect a melodious voice with saturn in the

2nd house.

Since Ketu has also joined saturn after bhav spashth, the vaani or

speech would have spiritual content. Ketu would have, to some

degree, moderated the abrasiveness of the speech but even ketu can

not make it melodious.

Venus in the 2nd would give a very melodious voice.

Therefore :

[ 1 ] Ask your father-in-law to gift you a little saffron or haldi {

turmeric } which you should immerse in a river. You have to immerse

it on three days regularly. Therefore the haldi or saffron given to

you has to be devided into three parts for immersing.

In case you are not married, then ask any servant to gift you haldi

or saffron.

[ 2 ] Offer at a temple, as often as you can, a little curds {

yoghurt }.

Sincerely,

Priya

Dear Priya,

This is very interesting.

Can you,please,explain the following:

a)You say Venus in the 2nd bhava would give me melodious voice.B\ut, if I move my Venus from the house she has in my natal chart, will I not loose Her benefits frm beig in that house?Actually, in which house is She in my natal chart?b)About the first upaya you reccomend:It has to do about haldi, so it is about Jupiter, right? You did not mention Jupiter when explaning to me the situation .Also, at the moment I have neither a spouse (so no father-in-law), nor servants. So,how should perform the upaya?

Dionisis

Dear Dennis,

[ 1 ] Yes I said that venus in the 2nd house gives a pleasant

speech. But I never said that I am going to shift your venus any

where.It stays as such.

[ 2 ] Yes, haldi is a karak of jupiter. The upaya is for Saturn in

the 2nd house. Saturn consists of two planets : venus + jupiter.

Saturn is a karak of father-in-law, or servant or a labourer. Now if

you ask any of them to gift you haldi, that means of the two

constituents jupiter will be taken away leaving venus behind. Saturn

{ servant or a labourer} gives to you jupiter { haldi } thus leaving

venus behind.

Therefore the upaya basically means establishing venus in the 2nd

house without having to disturb your natal venus.

Therefore ask any labourer { one who works for daily wages} to gift

you haldi. This you can either immerse or keep with you in the North

East corner of your house.

Sincerely,

Priya

Dear Priya,

There is no labourer around me with whom I am familiar and could ask him/her for some haldi. So, is there nothing else I cold do?Should I wait to find a labourer? Is there nothing that can be dome till then? Also, if I do this upaya , Saturn in my second house shall become Venus in my second house but will that not result in me loosing the benefic gifts of Saturn placed in the second house?

Dear Dennis,

[ 1 ] Saturn in the 2nd house signifies father-in-law. As a

substitute I had suggested either a servant or a labourer. There is

no further substitute to that. Nothing can be done till then.

[ 2 ] Yes, after the upaya it will be venus left in the 2nd house.

And yes, you will be deprived of the results of saturn in the 2nd.

But you can not have the cake and eat it too.

Sincerely,

Dear Priya,

The qualities give by saturn in the second house as described by you are certainly manifesting in my life and personality. They seem important to me as I am interested many in spirituality. The main reason I want to have a melodius voice is spiritual purposes but I think I should not sacrifice the power of Saturn for that. I do not know for sure but I feel it is such an important gift that Saturn ,who is a very "difficult " planet , for whom is said that "No planet can give as much as Saturn", s wel placed and strong in my natal chart .Please give your opinion

Regards,

Dionisis

P.S.Is there an behavior that turns Saturn malefic/benefic?Should I do any upaya to streghten more my Saturn?

Dear Dennis,

In order that your Saturn stays benefic you should:

[ 1 ] Not eat fish and take liquor.

[ 2 ] Not hurt snakes

[ 3 ] Respect your uncles.

[ 4 ] Should always pay the full wages of labourers or servants and

always respect them.

[ 5 ] Should not apply any kind of oil or oil product on your

forehead.

Sincerely,

Priya

you are certainly manifesting in my life and personality. They seem

important to me as I am interested many in spirituality. The main

reason I want to have a melodius voice is spiritual purposes but I

think I should not sacrifice the power of Saturn for that. I do not

know for sure but I feel it is such an important gift that

Saturn ,who is a very " difficult " planet , for whom is said

that " No planet can give as much as Saturn " , s wel placed and

strong in my natal chart .Please give your opinion

Priya Namaskar, I would really like to say something about melodious voice and spirituality. My voice is not good - for singing, it is like i am tone deaf! But recently when I saw my Guru she spoke about this. And said the most important thing is to sing from your heart. Many people do not have a sweet voice - but they have a sweet heart and that is what is important. with much love su mprgrandmaster wrote: Dear Priya, The qualities give by saturn in the second house as described by you are certainly manifesting in my life and personality. They seem important to me as I am interested many in spirituality.
