Guest guest
Dear Dennis, A sign { rasi } and a house { bhav or khana } are two different things. Sign is a physical space of 30 degrees in the sky; it is fixed and doesn't change. Where as a house is dependant on the ascendant. A house spreads 15 degrees on either side of the ascendant. In Indian Astrology the ascendant is considered as the mid-point of a house or bhav, unlike the western system where the ascendant is considered as the beginning of the house. For example in your case the ascendant is at libra 5d09, therefore your 1st house will start 15 degrees earlier at virgo 20d9 and would end 15 degrees after the ascendant at libra 20d9. The 2nd house will start at libra 20d9 and end at Scorpio 20d9....and so on. Read from the file the article on bhav spashtha and you will know what I am talking about. Sincerely, Priya , " Dennis " <mprgrandmaster wrote: > > Dear Priya, > In Lal Kitab each sing is considered a house, too, right?Should we use this system of houses with all vedic astrology methods or should we use each astrology system with each own system of houses? > Regards, > Dionisis >
