Rice rinsed in milk

Dear Priya Jee,

 

For the long period of UPAYAS you have suggested to keep little rice

rinsed in milk. Please let me know:

 

1. The " rice rinsed in milk " should be there from the start of

the UPAYA?

 

2. I have completed 5 weeks for burning oil lamp to papal and I

have to go our now, can keep the rice in milk now?

 

3. As I have to do this upaya on Saturdays but I have to go on

Tuesday. On which day should I put rice in milk?

 

4. Should I rice be immersed in river as soon as I return back

or wait till another Saturday or wait till time all 13 Saturdays has

been done?
