The reason for my asking is that I donate my clothes regularly and my Venus and Mercury are both malific. Should I stop donating my clothes? But remember there is a difference between donating some thing as a part of an upaya or with a purpose --- a " prayojan " and gifting as a social custom like at birthdays, marriage or anniversary etc. Gifting as a social custom is not prohibited.
