Go to the files and read the rules of upaya before doing them. [ 1 ] Immerse in a river 43 round pieces of copper, once. Immerse the pieces one by one. [ 2 ] Get an iron lock. Place this lock , in the locked position with the key inserted in the lock, at any cross roads { chauraha } after dark. In the shop all locks are sold in the locked position. Do not open the lock, not even to examine whether it is working or not. Just buy it as it is in the locked position. Even do not let the shop keeper open it for you. Can my wife do it in India? (The reason I am asking is that the nearest River here is 100Kilometers away; whereas in India it is just 6 Kilometers away) 2. Can the copper pieces be copper coins? Yes, your brothers or your parents can do the upaya on your behalf after the sankalp. Read from the files the rules of doing upaya. [ 2 ] Yes you can have coins { without the hole } in place of the round copper pieces. But the coins may be very expensive. Therefore I suggest round copper pieces. Can I use coins that contain copper instead of PURE copper rounds please?
