Dear Dennis,

[ 1 ] There are no such instructions as to which side of you the

river should be etc. The item is to be immersed in a river, you can

immerse it any way convenient to you.

[ 2 ] Immersing a handful of rice prior to immersing the item is

advised only if the Moon is weak or badly placed.

Sincerely,

Priya

question concerning the upaya that you have to immerse something in

a river. Are there any specific directions concerning where you

should be facing during the upaya, where the river should be, with

which hand you make the offering, etc? Also, is it always advisable

to offer milk mixed with rice beforehand? When offering the mixture

what should the vow be? " I am immersing this to the river so

that ... " ?

When ,some time ago, you suggested immersing in a river upaya for my natal Rahu, you adviced I offer some rice behorehand. So, me Moon is weak, right?Still, you adviced me for the transit the silver toy elephant upaya. But in a file you say your opinion is that this remedy should be done only when the Moon is strong.SO, is there anyting I am missing here?

Dear Dennis,

For transit upaya barley can be immersed without having to immerse a

handful of rice prior to the barley. You could immerse rice also if

you so like.

Sincerely,

Priya
